Robert B White, C.A.
Bob is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience in accounting procedures, administration, financial management and operations. He has served as Vice President Finance with manufactures and distributors in the Canadian consumer packaged goods industry, including Estee Lauder Cosmetics, Sanofi Beaute and RJR Foods. He was also Controller at Marshall Industries, a manufacture of patio furniture and shopping carts and Director of Administration at Touch Ross, a major public accounting firm.
As Principal of Business Advisory Associates, Bob provides various professional services to start up and active small businesses including accounting services, business mentoring, financial management and commodity, corporate and personal income tax advice. He is also an advisor for Account Edge (formerly MYOB) and Quick Books and provides user assistance for Simply Accounting.
He volunteers in the Access to Professional Program, offered by the Halton Business Development Centre, as a member of the Referral Program and the Business Panel. He has been an active member of the Business Advisory Group (BAG) since 1995 and served as Treasurer for ten years.
Since 1971, Bob and his wife Joan have lived in Oakville, Ontario and have two married adult children.
His hobbies include digital photography, financial publications, swimming and travel.
